I usually get a funny feeling when I see that there's a show or book or website that is focusing on a subject that I hold dear. I've never been able to put a name to it, but I can tell you that its not a good feeling. I think I'm closer to understanding what that feeling is.but I'm not ready to name it; at least not just yet.When others tackle a subject that I hold very dear, I tend to get a bit defensive, and yes, even afraid that their take will be sloppy or their take will be far and above much better than mine. Just another fear, I suppose, to join the hundreds of other nameless fears I carry around with me.
