None other than Whitman’s Pond in Weymouth (that’s Massachusetts for my national and international web-audience).
I was literally drawn to this spot, having no plans to visit that day, but boy, am I glad I did. I’ll be heading back to the same spot so I can document the change of seasons.
I had no less than three people eye me suspiciously and ask “what are you taking pictures of?” Doh! I responded to the third inquisitor with a snappy “Is that a trick question? It’s beautiful here, I’m surprised the shore isn’t lined with photographers!”
Familiarity breeds indifference. . . I’m guilty of the same sin when it comes to other things.

Forgot to mention that the beach/coastline/sand shots are taken along the Hingham (Massachuetts) public beach. I’ll be adding more from that location.
