He did it again! And again! And . . .

It is so rare to have the privilege to be involved with a horse that loves to compete and loves to win. And I'm not even referring to the purse money. . . after spending years on the "other side" of the business, riding ex-racers and working to generate awareness and change the usual endings of too many thoroughbreds, I have to wonder if maybe it the "Gods of Racing" who are smiling down on Ready's Rocket.
Take a look at his record:
He's a 6 year old, an age where many horses are plagued by injury, or soured or just not competitive any longer. His speed figures (93 for this year) are at a level way above what you'd expect for a horse running in $5k starter allowances.

Ready's Rocket showed off his speed and determination for a huge crowd at Keenland Racecourse in Lexington, KY on April 5, the same day Stardom Bound finished third, breaking her five-race stakes win streak.
Since joining our barn, his stats look like this: 16 5 - 3 - 5
Sent off at odds of 4-1, he wore down the favorite (1 to 5) to finish half-a-nose in front in a photo-finish. The time for the 7 furlong race: 1:22 4/5.

Which piece is yours? Such a pretty boy!
I’m pretty sure I own most of his left ear, half a nostril and the part of his neck covered by the jock’s arm in the above photo. I’m not in it for the $$$$, but he’s been a very good racehorse, rarely finishing out of the money.
I also own a tiny weeny part of Ready’s Rocket and have been searching for someone who knows the horse personally. I live in NY so I’ve never gotten to meet him. My question is what is he like? I know he’s an impressive racehorse, but I know from riding my whole life that every horse has his own personality and quirks. Any information that anyone happens to know about this horse would be greatly appreciated. Even though I only own a few hairs from his mane, I’ve watched all his races and become attached. I’m looking forward to seeing Calvin Borel ride him this afternoon at Churchill Downs. Anyway, if you have any relevant info, please email me at evening.a.tired@gmail.com.
Thanks!
