Stardom Bound before the Breeder's Cup

Champion Stardom Bound, whose five consecutive Grade 1 victories included the 2008 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, has retired from the racetrack.

The 4-year-old Tapit filly is at Bluewater Farm near Lexington and will be bred later this spring to 2008's champion 3-year-old and Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner Big Brown.
