THAT’S MY HORSE. . .OR IS IT?

I can't believe I'm about to admit this, but lately, I'm noticing that from my livingroom vantage point, all horses look kinda the same. Obviously, this is a sweeping generalization, but I can admit it. . . any big chestnut with a small blaze that sports a white bridal and an orange "7" saddle cloth could be  Big Brown.I would love to see horses in upper level allowance/ handicap / stakes horses wearing some kind of identifying gear. . . like a bright hat between their ears, or some other mark that will immediately distinguish that horse from every other horse who looks just like him. This would go a long way towards getting the fans involved, and will make it easier to identify "your" horse in the race and after the race. Let's face it, an owner's silks are recognizable to the owner, but not the casual race fan. And, as an added bonus. . . think of the merchandising opps!!!!
