I penned that short missive to the on-air guys at TVG today, and they read it aloud and agreed with the sentiment.
Earlier in the day, Zito had made himself available for a call-in interview with Bob "Mister B" Beadecker who was sharing hosting duty with Greg Wolf. Out of all of the TVG "duos," I appreciate those two the most. . .a nice mix of lively banter and color commentary balanced against snippets of info relating to the horses and their connections. I enjoy Mr. B's homespun stories and recollections. . .and he's the type to look for the "good" in the sport. Greg impressed me when I saw him go to "
Jockey School," and master the technique known as "posting," and was impressed with his effort--plus, he didn't embarass himself, or fall off.
