OMEGA GIRL: In the afternoon’s first race, The $50,000 OBS Sprint Stakes for 3-year-old fillies, Denholtz Stables’ Dances With Ashley swung out for the drive under Jermaine Bridgmohan, took command a furlong out and drew away to a 2-1/2 length victory over Kuehne Racing’s Omega Girl, with M & H Stables’ Robtadi a neck back in third. Trained by Marty Wolfson, the daughter of Wildcat Heir, bred in Florida by Brambly Lane Farm and Steve Dwoskin, ran the six furlongs in 1:10 2/5. She was sold first by Peggy Dellheim, Agent, at the 2007 OBS Fall Mixed Sale before being sold by Casse Sales, Agent, for $125,000 at the 2009 OBS February Sale. Her first stakes victory gives her a 4-3-0-0 record and $62,440 in earnings.
