READY'S ROCKET vied for the lead along the inside on his own courage, took over when ready once in the stretch and drew off under mild handling.

Above is a comment line from Ready's race today. With Calvin Borel up, he trounced the compeition yet again in a starter's allowance at Churchill Downs. Before he was claimed from RJ Thoroughbreds for Tampa Metro Stable by his previous trainer (Tim Glyshaw) he had been dropping down the claiming ladder. .. all the way to $4,000 when Tim claimed him out of a lackluster 4th place finish at Penn National on February 18, 2010.Because non-claiming races have race "conditions" that usually state something like this: 6F Dirt.
