Seeking that Connection

Trees seek a connection in the spaces in between

All around us, every day, there are examples of the need to connect with other living things.

Even among plant life, you'll find examples.

Are theseĀ  trees racing to compete for the life-giving sunlight, or is it something more profound?

Here's another example of seeking a connection. Their coming-together, one branch, one tendril at a time, seems tentative and unsure;

not the "race for the sun" you'd expect for trees in competition.
