RUSSROADRUSSELL ROADOther winners over the weekend who could have a future include the exciting West Virgina-bred Russell Road, whose victory in the Dancing Count Stakes at Laurel was his sixth in a row, all sprints. But he is from an old established female family, and his broodmare sire Verification is by Exceller, out of the Phipps-family mare The Cuddler, who is by Buckpasser out of Intriguing, making her a full-sister to the great Numbered Account. This is a terrific female family, with his two fourth generation tail-female sires, Ambiorix and Palestinian, foaled in the 1940s.
