Its at a bit of an awkward angle (don't worry, I'll have more opportunities), but if you look closely, you can see the rear-end of the male nuthatch, facing the camera. To the left is his mate, eyes closed and accepting one of the many food-gifts to come leading up to the busy and less romantic nesting phase.
