Following the publication of photographs that show the World's Cutest Squirrel (WCS) fraternizing with a sworn enemy ( the cat named Gyro), the WCS has been stripped of his title.Two photos in particular sparked this controversy.  In one, the WCS is seen practically "making out" with the ferocious feline.  Outraged members of both species noted that if it weren't for the window between them, there may have been an even more serious crime.The other photo in question shows a naked  squirrel, alleged to be the WCS, splayed over a deck railing in a provocative pose, sporting a "come hither" glint in his eye.In cases such as these, the first runner-up "Cutest Squirrel" will be installed as the interim World's Cutest Squirrel.
